Homeschool 101:
I help you determine what your family's educational goals are and what style of homeschooling would work best for you.
I also provide information on what your rights are as a homeschooler in the state of California.
Curriculum Development:
Every child is unique and figuring out what makes them thrive in a learning environment is essential. My goal is to help you tailor-make a curriculum style that is both suited to your child, while also staying within a framework that works for your family.

Coaching for the home educator
Homeschooling can feel daunting and overwhelming.
I provide both strategic and emotional support, helping you learn necessary tips and tricks that will help you create a structure for your child's learning environment. I also provide support for families who have both Neuro-typical and Neuro-diverse children and teens.

More About Marie Roark, Educational Specialist
I graduated from Mills College with a BA in Psychology and earned a teaching certification from AMI Montessori Teacher's Training Center of Northern CA and spent two years in both a clinical and research position focusing on child development with UCSF.
I have been involved with the homeschool community for over sixteen years personally and taught as a private homeschool teacher for five years.
I am also a long time educational advocate and believe that every child should have the opportunity to a positive, happy and fulfilling education!
